Did Aliens Cruise in Santa Cruz?
I am getting increasingly fond of the ones I took of the Potosí silver mine in the Cerro Rico, the Silver Mountain, showcased in The Devil Likes Dynamite.
A Potosi mine tour is part of the traveller must-dos in Bolivia now, although it is getting more and more sanitized and predictable. What has not changed is the miners’ short and dangerous life. I am very glad they let me linger a tad longer and took me in their confidence so that I could take these images below.
